I created a workspace and invited learners. In a test project I reconfigured the pane layout to my preferred order and then changed the access settings to everyone. When I opened the project from a test learner account, the pane layout was RStudio's default, not the the layout I set.
Is there a way to ensure that all learners see the pane layout I set? I don't want to teach from the default, and I'd prefer to avoid having students go into the settings first thing.

Unfortunately, project settings are not copied to derived projects at this time. This is something we've considered addressing, but we have no estimate for when we might take on that work.
