RStudio for Windows crashing

Hello,
R Studio is crashing in the following situations. Would you please let me know what I need to do to fix it. I've uninstalled R Studio but nothing changed. Please help

• Open RStudio and select File -> New Project -> existing directory
• Hit the "Browse" Button
• The Directory window comes up for 1 second and then rstudio crashes before I can select a directory or give a name to the new project

• Open RStudio and select File -> New Project -> New directory
• Hit the "Browse" Button
• The Directory window comes up for 1 second and then rstudio crashes before I can do anything
•
• Open RStudio and select File -> New File -> R Script
• File -> Save As
• The Directory window comes up for 1 second and then rstudio crashes before I can do anything
•
• Open RStudio and select File -> Open File
• The Directory window comes up for 1 second and then rstudio crashes before I can do anything
