RStudio already has some support for LaTeX — what did you want to be able to do?

I need TexLive Full to be able to render latex (pdf) files with r-exams and exams2pdf, in .Rmd documents. Blessings..

At this link, it seems to suggest that the full TeX distribution is not necessary:

You can do a lot in R Markdown documents without installing a full TeX distribution either. Is there specific output that you've been having trouble creating?
