wordcloud2 custom hover text?

I was curious if anyone knew how to customize the tooltip text for wordcloud2? Is this something I could use the hoverFunction parameter for?

Main reason I'm asking: I have a frequency set that is very top heavy so I'm log transforming it to make things more aesthetically pleasing. However I would like it to show the actual frequency in the tool tip rather than the log(freq)
