I know that some packages like reticulate help us to use python code in rmarkdown, but is it possible to write and execute python code directly like R (something similar to pycharm but with a better support) ?
Thanks

Short answer: Yes, there's support for Python in the coming 1.2 version, currently available in "preview" or "daily" forms.
Awesome job RStudio
When will the 1.2 version be official ?
I don't have a hard release date, but it should be early this year.
Is there any way to turn on syntax check and linting for python in Rstudio 1.2?
Sorry, that isn't implemented yet -- you could consider filing a feature request.
