Hi, I tried to install a more recent version of R, after getting a message box upon opening R (I have not used it for several months). It told me that I was currently using 2023.09.1-494 and asked if I wanted to install a more recent version. It felt like an update to me so I thought, 'why not', so then attempted to do it. So I hit the quit and download button, which took me to another page. I selected the drop down field - macOS 13 or earlier as I have an old Mac (version 11.7.11). Up til now, updates have been fine. Is there a version (more recent than 2023.09.1-494) that I can install and download for my old Mac, or should I just press 'ignore' next time I get the message every time I open R? I took screen shots, but I can't find a way to attach them!
