Why downloading the command line of R studio takes 40 hours, and installing are also considerably slow?

I have a M1 Mac. I don't know if R studio differentiate between M1 and Intel Mac?
And for R, I downloaded the R. 4.1.2 arm 64 instead of R 4.1.2 , is this correct?
