What's the difference between these two versions of R for Data Science?

Someone asked me a guide to get started with R so I figured a good starting point would be “R for Data Science”.

However I found two (different?) versions:

What's the difference? Is there a difference?

If you navigate through the table of contents in the latter link, it'll actually take you over to the chapters as they are in the first link. I believe the difference is that one was started before bookdown, and then everything was finished and is actively changed in the time since.
