What do the numbers mean exactly on a tree based model

Hello,

I've created a tree based model and I was just wondering what exactly the numbers underneath each variable mean and how does one tell which node to go to depending on the answer. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi, thanks for your response. I had a read, do the numbers predict a log for the output variable or is it the mean of the response for the observations that fall there?
