Want to work on a python package that forks DBT-DuckDB and supports native R models? Looking for mentorship

Throwing this out there.

I am planning on experimenting with a dbt-duckdb fork that adds native parsing and support for .R models in addition to .sql and .py models.

Is there anyone at posit that can help mentor me through this project?

I have a background in statistics but have been doing package development and applicaiton development for past few years.
