Using Apple's Magic Keyboard with Numpad for RStudio

Hi,

I am using Apples Magic Keyboard with Numpad since a couple of weeks and in RStudio the assign operator <- is not working with the shortcut option + -, when the - is pressed on the Numpad.

I tried changing the shortcut in the RStudio settings. Pressing option + - to produce the shortcut produces the exact same result when - is pressed on the Numpad or the standard keyboard.

How come that for assigning a shortcut there is not difference in using either - but for using it, the Numpad version in not recognised?
