I'd like to get page views and other usage data for a book I've recently published on bookdown (An Introduction to Political and Social Data Analysis Using R). Any ideas?
I used microanalytics.io for one book. It was pretty simple.
First, I put this in the _output.yml in the bookdown::gitbook: section...
includes:
in_header: files/html/in_header.html
Then I put the one-line microanalytics.io script in that in_header.html file. That's all it took.

Thanks. That looks pretty straightforward, but microanalytics does accept the url "https://bookdown.org/tomholbrook12/bookdown-demo/" as a valid domain name.
Ah, too bad. I published mine on GitHub, where it had it's own subdomain. I wasn't aware of that limitation for microanalytics.io.
