I have just now encountered the same issue after a total rebuild of my Windows 11 machine last week, fully up-to-date and functioning with all packages and able to run Shiny locally no problems. However I get the message which is the topic title when looking to deploy to shinyapps.io.
According to the previous thread, this issue is (a) open (b) unresolved, and the solution is
install R 4.3.3 to your local and deploy to your host from that version
However that was a short-term workaround.
Am I encountering a problem which has the wrong error message?
Or is no-one developing on 4.4.2, released over 1 month ago, and deploying to Shinyapps.io?
