Unable to start a new R project in R studio

Hi R studio community,

This is my first post here. I having been using R studio for quite a long time. I have several R projects with R Studio and recently I noticed that I am unable to start a new R project. I get a spinning icon and it is not allowing me to create a new project. I am using the latest R studio version (Version 2024.12.1+563 (2024.12.1+563)) and R and I am using mac sequoa 15+ . Please see below for the screen shot.

You might try resetting RStudio's state, in case something in it is causing the problem.
