We changed the Http port of POSIT Connect from 3939 to 80. The server is connected when tried through web. However, for publishing content from within Rstudio Workbench IDE, Connecting to POSIT Connect server through the URL failed with the error message:
Server Validation failed: The URL does not appear to belong to a valid server. Please double check the URL . Could not resolve host :
