Please I would like to ask: Is it possible to get the number of replies to a tweet from the twitter api using either rtweet or twitteR? Thanks
There isn't any direct way to get this, you'll need to search for tweets replying to the tweet you want or use the new function (only on devel of rtweet) to retrieve all replies with tweet_threading.
