A year ago after an update rstudio stopped working and it still isn't working - the same issue, not even error message available (see report below). At that time I was getting all kinds of absolutely useless "help", (f.e. https://support.posit.co/hc/en-us/articles/200488508/comments/10155655418135) where i was suggested resetting the user state but then i was ignored and after 10 months my reply to the moderator (or whoever he is) is still pending approval... I was even suggested to format the entire OS and start from scratch as a last resort (lol...as if it was a "fix"), and although i've seen many identical or similar failure reports (linux and mac alike), all have been closed after 21 days with NO RESPONSE... why??? isn't there anyone in the community that could address it and help with fix??? meanwhile i use rstudio without issues on the same PC on Win10 via virtualbox on a Linux Mint, which is pretty ironical since i switched to linux from windows for similar reasons. help anyone?
