'The previous R session was abnormally terminated due to an unexpected crash'

Hi,
I'm using the Seurat package on R Studio Server which I am running remotely off a linux server.
When I try to run a PCA on the Seurat pmbc tutorial, I get the message 'The previous R session was abnormally terminated due to an unexpected crash', no matter how small the data is. There is free RAM (and I can run this script on my macbook air with less memory without issue!)
