the library ROSE having an error that is different

Getting:
data_balanced_both <- ovun.sample(IntentGrad ~ Gender , data = Train, method = "both",N = .5)$data
Error in .rowNamesDF<-(x, value = value) : invalid 'row.names' length

I updated R to the latest version and reloaded ROSE.

The above line runs fine in a previous version of R and ROSE.

It only happens when method = "both"
