I teach analytics and statistics using RStudio in posit.cloud, and would greatly appreciate a different sorting option within a space. When I create an assignment each student populates a copy of the project that has the same name, in some random order. When I go to review their work the 2 available sort options - project name and create time - are essentially useless, so it's necessary to look for each student name in a sometimes long list (can be over 100). If "author name" can be added to the sort options (or have author name automatically added to the project name?) it would help a lot.

That is a great suggestion. Thanks for posting. I'll add your request to the backlog of work for Posit Cloud to get triaged.
In the short term, if you do need to quickly find work for a particular student you can search for their name in the search text field. That should allow you to filter the projects created by that one student. And then you can sort those filtered results by created date or name of the project.
