Shiny Widget: Multiple options selection

I've been reading following article:

and location selection widget (location names on right side) look very neat. Any idea how was that implemented?

I have something similar where options (queried by Nominatim) are displayed in DT::datatable but it does not look so compact and tidy. From the dashboard I cant tell if selection options are reactive, but in my case they would need to be.
