Is the Shiny Contest happening this year?

Any updates for 2022?

Throughout 2022, it's always felt like we were a few months away from announcing the contest, but unfortunately we were not able to make it happen this year.
The current plan is to announce the contest in early 2023. I am fairly confident about this estimate now.
