Setting the size of a specific figure in an example when rendered in the pkgdown site

I have a question about the size of figures generated under the Examples on a pkgdown site. One can of course adjust the size of all figures via _pkgdown.yml but is it possible to adjust the size of a single figure that is created under the examples (e.g., if the default dimensions specified via _pkgdown.yml would look strange for the figure generated)? I tried adding dev.new(width=<>, height=<>) to the example, but then the figure doesn't show up at all on the pkgdown site (see here for an example of this). So, is there some way of getting this to work?

Is it impossible, for now, to customize the size of one figure in one example when the figure is generated in the reference page of the pkgdown site? If it cannot be done, I would still like to know so I can give up trying to do this.
