We have a user with a valid license and publisher access to Posit Connect. However, when they try to publish an app from the Workbench, they receive the following error:
The URL "https://connect.posit.companyname.org/" does not appear to belong to a valid server. Please double check the URL, and contact your administrator if the problem persists.
We guided the user to add the Connect account via:
Tools → Global Options → Publishing → Publishing Accounts → Connect → Posit Connect,
but entering the URL results in the same error.
This issue is affecting only this specific user.
What could be causing this?
