Send code from Sublime Text to Rstudio desktop

Hi All,

for many years I have used the SendCode package in Sublime Text to send code to Rstudio Desktop. About a year ago an update of Rstudio has broken this functionality in SendCode.

I simply would like to send R code to RStudio desktop console as I did before. There must be other Rstudio users that use Sublime Text as an editor? I have tried to create an a Autohotkey script that copies the text from ST and pastes it into Rstudio but it’s not working.

This has completely disrupted my workflow and I really don't like the Rstudio editor.

Please help!

This doesn't answer your question (I have never used Sublime), but you could use VS Code which can integrate R easily. Then you'll have an editor more to your taste and will be able to run R within it like in RStudio.

Thanks for the suggestion, I guess I will have to try but for me Sublime it's a perfect editor and I am afraid of having to relearn a lot of things. I spent a day today with the Rstudio editor and it's really awful.
