Rtools 44 bug in ld.exe on a mapped network drive

When running rtools 44 from a mapped network drive on a windows machine, ld.exe doesn't work anymore, because this path is translated to a UNC path. In previous versions this was not a problem.

I would like to submit this bug to the developer, but do not know where. Does anyone have a suggestion?
