Installed RStudio on my new Mac M1, and this -ne appears in terminal. I cannot get rid of it nor find an explanation in stack overflow or elsewhere online.
The -ne does not appear in my Mac terminal.
Does it still happen if you turn off the "Save and Restore Environment Variables" setting? Options -> Terminal -> Closing:
