RStudio MacOS Monterey 12.6 hangs on open with blank screen

and newly-downloaded and updated RStudio, RStudio hangs on startup with a blank screen.

system.log has:

What should I do now?

As per AUR (en) - rstudio-desktop-bin opening the app with the --no-sandbox arg lets RStudio come up.
