Rstudio does not connect with R in Macbook Air

I installed the free version of RStudio on Macbook Air running the latest operating system. For some reason, Rstudio does not connect with R. It is not able to load all the packages. On my Macbook Pro it works fine.

Could you confirm whether you installed R itself?

Yes I did. And R works by itself. R Studio hands up loading the packages

Could you post a screenshot of what happens when you try to open RStudio?
