After upgrading to MacOS Monterey 12.6.3, a screen appeared stating that
RStudio could not connect with R, and suggesting various remedies, none
of which were clearly going to work. I then rebooted. This time, the R
command line appeared (directory name started with underscore), with an error
message. I was then able, somewhat to my surprise, to change to another
project (no underscore), where the command line appeared to function normally.
I then changed back to the underscore project, and all appeared well. Weird. Does
this reflect an aversion, somewhere in the RStudio/Monterey 12.6.3
mix, to underscore directories for projects? I've not checked what happens if I
reboot another time. [ RStudio Version 2022.12.0+353 (2022.12.0+353)].
