RStudio Connect texlive and latex

Hello,

Markdown content on RStudio Connect is throwing an error about not being able to find the texmf.cnf file in a variety of directories, see full error below. Running kpsewhich -a texmf.cnf locates it in /usr/local/texlive/2020/texmf-dist/web2c/texmf.cnf. The path to the texlive binary is also included in PATH as follows: echo $PATH
/usr/local/texlive/2020/bin/x86_64-linux:/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/usr/local/sbin:/usr/sbin
Are we missing some additional settings perhaps?
