RStudio automatically saves plots and does not show preview in Plots pane

Hi,

My RStudio stops showing preview of plots in the Plots pane, but instead saving the plots directly as file in the working directory - (named like Rplot001.png)

Any suggestion how to turn this off and switch back to the default setting (i.e. shows preview in Plots pane and does not save to disk automatically)?
