Rmarkdown tab in R studio console

Hi,
This is a very basic question but I don't find an answer:
I inadvertently closed the Rmarkdown tab in my RStudio console, and I am not able to make it appear again..
any suggestions?

open an R Markdown file and knit the file. The tab should automagically appear.

Hi, thanks for your answer! I tried that and it did not work, but I googled a little more and found out that it all goes down to a RStudio-Desktop folder, which apparently contains information about the console appearance. When deleted, RStudio creates a new one and the settings go back to default, I think.
By the way it is fine now. Thanks anyway!
