RMarkdown:pandoc is not available

Hi community,
I want to document and report my Bellabeat report using RMarkdown. When I try to use the knit button the following message is shown:
Error: pandoc version 1.12.3 or higher is required and was not found (see the help page ?rmarkdown::pandoc_available).
Execution halted
I have a corporate laptop and I cannot install pandoc by myself(I installed it using install.packages). Any suggestions what can I do?
