Republishing from rendered html file

I have a project (Posit Connect Cloud) that uses a rendered Quarto document as its source (so the HTML file that was rendered locally before pushing to GitHub). The repo is here: ExampleApps/GoogleAnalyticsDashboard at main · centralstatz/ExampleApps · GitHub

However, when I republish an existing project on Connect Cloud with this source, it doesn't appear to render the updated changes.

But, when I create a brand new Connect Cloud project, rendered from this source, it correctly renders the updated HTML document (Posit Connect Cloud).

Any idea why this is?

Hi Alex,

When you open the original project - Posit Connect Cloud - in an incognito tab, does it pick up the changes? I'm wondering if it is a caching issue.

Also, which browser are you using?

Best,

Alex

Ahh gotcha, that must've been it, as it appears to work as intended now using incognito. I am using Chrome. Appreciate the help.

Thanks for letting me know. We do have an issue that deals with caching and hopefully can make this less likely to occur.

I'm curious if refreshing the page that shows the old content helps at all?

thanks

We pushed an update to our service yesterday that we hope improves this behavior. Let us know if you still run into this.

thanks
