I have a student where RStudio doesn't start. I reinstalled it and deleted all the .RData and similar files. When opening RStudio it shows a popup showing if I want to open rstudio.exe from an unknown source. If I click yes a tiny popup appears for a fraction of a second and then it crashes.
When trying the diagnostics report with run the same happens, when I run it in the terminal it it states "[utils.ts] [createStandaloneErrorDialog] Error when creating Standalone Error Dialog: Error: application not set as s (C:\Program Files\RStudio\resources\app.webpack\main\index.js:8:321720) at (...) Unexpected token '', ""... is not valid JSON
She has R for Windows 4.4.1 and RStudio 2024.09.0+375. R works by itself without RStudio IDE.
