R session aborted with fix()

Hi community

I just updated my rstudio to the newest version. But when I try to use fix() on a two dimensional variable e.g. table, data frame, matrix it will always run into a fatal error which aborts the session. I tried a few other variable types and they seem to work fine.

Is it a common issue with the new build? How can I resolve this issue?
