R script becomes empty (0KB) after saving

Hi, I have a very similar problem as R code file 0 kb after saving with previous version of R and R Code file is becoming 0 KB after saving : R script files become empty (0KB) for the next session after saving them. Still empty when viewing with text editor, nothing useful in .RHistory and RsRecovr does not help either.
I am using RStudio 2023.03.0 Build 386. with R version 4.2.2 (2022-10-31 ucrt).

Is there a way to get back my scripts?
How to avoid this problem with my still existing scripts?

This really kills my everyday work, any help is highly welcome. Thanks!
