R/RStudio won't open in linux (chromebook)

and the post they link back to, unable to open RStudio, spinning icon forever. Checked that R/RStudio are both installed, not seeing any errors, just won't open.

I'm having the same issue. Just downloaded it, and when I try to open it I just get a clocking icon in the task bar.
