R Markdown adds a 10 at the beginning of references

Hi

I'm using R Markdown and the references start with a "10" that's not part of the Rmd nor the TeX file. How can this be fixed?

Can you share a reproducible example ?

This is in the bibliography which is processed by Pandoc and can depend on your bib file, and your CSL file is any.

Without an example, it will be very hard for me to look into this. Thanks!
