R encountered a fatal error when opening Rstudio

Hello everyone,

I have attached a screenshot of the problem I am encountering when opening RStudio. I have read other blog posts and tried removing and reinstalling R and Rstudio but no luck, I still get the same error. I haven't changed anything on my computer. From one day to the next I got this error.

This is the version of R I have: R 4.3.1 GUI 1.79 Big Sur ARM build
And this is the version for Rstudio: 2023.09.0+463

Can you run R from the terminal?

We want to establish if it is an R or RStudio issue.
