R and Rstudio fatal error aborts post-installation of the new version 4.0.0

Hello,

I can't run any cod or install pkgs without my R session terminating with fatal error abort. Both R and Rstudio. Ive tried all basic troubleshooting; reinstalled R and rstudio multiple times, resetting Rstudio slate, checking startup files, etc but no go.

if you hasn't some urgent stuff with R 4.0.0, i'll recommend R 3.6.3
