I installed R 4.4.0 and RStudio 2024.04.0 Build735 on one of my laptops. Everything was working okay except for the leaflet package. The maps do not display. I have R 4.3.2 on another laptop with RStudio 2024.04.0, and the leaflet works as it should. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the programs without fixing the leaflet problem. I was using the same codes, and the same packages were loaded on both computers. No maps show up on the computer with R 4.4.0. Any suggestions?
I have the same issue. I just needed backtrack my update to an older version of R. After that, a map with basic functionality will work, but don't try anything complex because would not work. I think Leaflet in R is in their last days of development

According to GitHub, leaflet was last updated at the end of March, and there are currently 9 commits to main that haven't made it into a new package version. So I'm not entirely sure that's correct, might just be moving slower than you'd like.
