I am having trouble installing RStudio 2023.06.1+524.
Despite downloading RSTUDIO-2023.06.1-524.EXE from Posit's website, the version installed on my desktop is Version 1.1.453. This means that I am asked to download the newest version when I open RStudio sending me in a continuous loop between RStudio and Posit's webpage.
Anyone who have any suggestions as to what I am doing wrong?

I am having the same issue. I tried deleting both R and Rstudio and reinstalling them twice over a span of few weeks and I still get the same issue. Are you using a Mac? Did you figure it out?

I use Windows but I did figure it out - more or less. I continued using Version 1.1.453. Next time I opened a saved file, it was opened in RStudio 2023.06.1+524. Somehow two versions of RStudio had been installed in two different folders. I have no idea why.
I am not sure how much of a help this is. I hope you figure it out.
