Problem Starting RStudio in Debian-10.0.0 (Buster)

I have just installed Debian Stretch on my Linux platform and installed rstudo-1.2.1554-amd64.deb without generating any warning of error messages

However, when I attempted starting the app i get the error message:

root@AbNormal:/home/comp/Downloads/RStudio# /usr/lib/rstudio/bin/rstudio
/usr/lib/rstudio/bin/rstudio: error while loading shared libraries: libssl.so.1.0.2: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

The version of libssl is 1.1.1c-1.

Please advise.

Which download link of RStudio did you use? We have builds that should work with Debian 10 + OpenSSL 1.1 at https://www.rstudio.com/products/rstudio/download/preview/ -- in particular,

https://s3.amazonaws.com/rstudio-ide-build/desktop/bionic/amd64/rstudio-1.2.1555-amd64.deb

Can you confirm whether or not that works for you?

I'm happy to report that 21.2.1555 installed and works perfectly.
