I have no code here as I have just begun. For this project I wish to predict the winner of ncaab basketball games. I have already got data over each teams stats over the year and the stats for each game. I was thinking about using logistic regression with a 3 game moving average, but was wondering whether I was headed in the right direction. I do not need any help with the code as I would like to do it myself, but would like advice for directions to head with this project! Thanks in advance!
Maybe some folks will jump in and provide some useful feed-back to your question (that'd be amazing!), but since this is a stat-related question (not that much related to R), I think you may get more specialised feed-back on Cross Validated.
