Hello, newbie RStudio user, wanting to try Positron for R and Python projects in my Posit Cloud. After creating my template project folder, I did not see an option to use Positron as an IDE in Posit Cloud. Did I miss something right in front of me, or is it not available yet on Posit Cloud?

Positron is not available on Posit Cloud right now, unfortunately. Thank you for sharing your interest in doing so, though!
What would you say is your main motivation for wanting to work in a cloud environment, in your case?
Thank you Julia for letting me know. I have started a data analytics consultancy for non-profits/NGO in Pittsburgh. After finishing my first client project, I learned a lot of hard lessons about dependencies and made a decision to use Posit Cloud going forward for my R projects. I used my laptop for the project, but I also use a desktop that want to be able to switch to if I need to. I am also wanting to do Python projects and I heard about Positron. As a newbie analyst, I realized I don't want to be switching IDE's, and the launch of Positron was a welcome event. So, after considering my own server (which has its own issues: security, backups, etc), I realized I wanted a single IDE for R and Python in a single instance that I can access from any computer. I don't know if that makes sense, but I think Positron on the cloud would seem to be able to accomplish that.
