Fellow Positron users:
Are any of you experiencing issues with intellisense crashing when working in either a .R script or juypter notebook using an R kernel? Usually, it will crash and come back in a few minutes but since this morning it has yet to come on. I've restarted everything several times to no avail.
Thank you for helping test Positron! You may have found a bug with ARK, Positron's new R kernel and language server. Could you please share more details about your environment, including operating system, version of Positron, and version of R?
Have you noticed any particular fragment of R code seems to cause the issue?
When troubleshooting issues, we would like to know if you see any errors in the Output logs of the channels relevant to the R extension and its language runtime. The Positron wiki has a section about which channels are of interest: Troubleshooting Wiki Page
e.g. in the Output tab of the Panel, locate the drop down and look for channels named "Positron Language Server: R 4.X.Y (console)" or "Console: R 4.X.Y" based on your version of R. There may be errors printed out in these logs that could help point us to the issue.
Alternatively, you may also get help from early testers in the Positron pre-release discussions.
