PDF render hangs with mermaid

Hi, When I export a qmd doc like for example this one:

It hangs indefinitely. My professor assigned homework with mermaid on posit using qmd, and instructed us to export to PDF, while he only exports to html, and in my understanding it simply doesn't work with PDF.

4 of us tried it separately and non of us were able to get it to work.

Try updating chrome and also latest 1.6 Quarto pre-release.

There was some changes at chrome level recently and it has impacted the screenshot feature in Quarto.

If this still does not work, do open an issue in Quarto repo: GitHub - quarto-dev/quarto-cli: Open-source scientific and technical publishing system built on Pandoc.
