pasting a copied chunk erases line breaks

I use to copy and paste chunks within and between Rmarkdown documents. But after updating RStudio to 2023.06.1, when I paste a copied chunk all line breaks whithin the chunk dissappear, resulting in a continous text that is no longer working. I have to go through the chunk restoring all line breaks that have been erased. Is this a bug of the new RStudio version or is there an option whithin RStudio I should enable/disable?

This would be an issue to RStudio Github repo if you can reproduce with latest versions.

The copy pasting is a IDE feature and not directly link to rmarkdown R package.
